Leiomy began her career as a dancer and has been a part of New York’s LGBT ballroom scene since she was 15 years old. She is the first transgender lady to compete on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Maldonado choreographed and participated in Willow Smith’s music video “Whip My Hair.”
Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears are among the celebrities who have adopted “The Leiomy Lolly.” Icona Pop’s song video “All Night” featured her. He also appeared in the season one finale, when he played the Florida character. Ballroom giants Yolanda Jourdan and Alloura Jourdan Zion are said to be major influences on Leiomy’s style.
