Lauren Green competed in beauty pageants such as Miss Minnesota and Miss America before beginning her professional career in journalism. She won the Miss Minnesota pageant in 1984 and finished third in the Miss America competition in 1985. Take a look at her incredible Miss Minnesota performance.
She worked as an anchor and reporter for CBS-2 as well as a reporter for Lauren Green-5. Lauren Green has mostly covered religion since joining Fox News Channel in 1996. She has covered several events for FNC, including Pope Francis’ election, Pope Benedict XVI’s departure, and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, among others.
She also got the opportunity to talk with several classical artists, including Placido Domingo, Pierre Boulez, Joshua Bell, and others. Classical Beauty, her debut CD as a dedicated classical musician, was published in 2004. She and The Little Rockers, her band, have also been on the Huckabee program. Her performance was part of Georg Ratzinger’s 90th birthday celebration.
