While Prime Day can seem like another excuse to splurge on another fake plant or that flat screen you’ve been eyeing for the bedroom, comic book fans want Amazon customers to know the true meaning of the two-day holiday. For some Transformers fans, Prime Day is a day to pay homage to Optimus Prime. Before Amazon’s launch, the fallen leader was the only thing anyone thought of when they heard “Prime” in public.

Many Prime Day followers will recall seeing some variation of the Optimus Prime meme throughout the years. However, it still remains an oldie but goodie photo to use to celebrate the event.
