Kim, Kim Jong-il’s third son, is assumed to have been born on January 8, 1982, in North Korea. Kim studied in Switzerland from 1993 to 2000, according to sources.
These rumors have not been substantiated because he attended under a phony name. After returning to North Korea, he attended Kim Il-sung University, a prestigious college for officer training.
He returned to Pyongyang to study at Kim II-Sung University, despite having degrees in both military science and physics. He was a military officer. North Koreans sing praise songs to Kim Jong-Un and consider him to be a celestial figure.
He was also nominated to lead the Military Commission. He is a North Korean leader of the third generation.
