Speaking of her romantic life at the time, Sally wed Ray McNeil, a fellow bodybuilder. They had been acquainted for a very long time. In addition to this, Ray and Sally exercise together at the gym. They then began dating one another.
Sally and Ray were married after dating for some time. Sally admitted in an interview that her husband Ray had physically and psychologically abused her. She added that Ray had also struck her. Sally fatally shot her husband in 1995.
