Before her present union with Brian, Keri Shaw was married to a man by the name of Mike Jenkins. Things were going well in their marriage until something terrible happened. Mike Jenkins, her spouse, died at the age of 31. The couple wed in a low-key ceremony in March of 2012.
Keri also celebrated their first anniversary on March 25, 2013, by posting a cute picture of herself and her husband. “OFirstwedding anniversary today!!!!! @mikeyjenks was the caption she posted.
Between the two, everything was going great until November 28, 2013, when Jenkins passed away unexpectedly. She wrote on Facebook to share the news,
I wish to inform everyone of the passing of Mike Jenkins, my husband, best friend, and everything, this morning. I do so with a heavy heart and much sadness. Please remember to pray for all of us. As soon as I learn more, I will update you.
Following a slew of remarks regarding his passing, Keri replied, telling her Facebook acquaintances that Mike had passed away peacefully the previous evening, with minimal indication of any problems.
Jenkins competed in strongman competitions professionally. He was the director of athletics at Milton Hershey School. In addition, he played a lot of football before he became a strongman.
