Endorsements
Surprisingly, Jenner has made the majority of her money via endorsements. Many people feel like they have seen her in commercials for almost every company they ever heard of.
Adidas, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Calvin Klein, and Estée Lauder are among the brands she has worked with.
With big names behind her, it’s no surprise that she’s paid well for her efforts.
Moreover, hundreds of influencers have been uncovered by BBC Click promoting the sale of fake Apple AirPods on Instagram, including Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
Despite the large sums of money she has received, there are some endorsements she probably wished she had avoided. For instance, Jenner was a major sponsor of the Fyre Festival in 2017, which turned out to be the most disastrous non-event in history.
Jenner reportedly earned $250,000 for promoting the event on Instagram, which promised opulent lodgings and big-name performers.
Nonetheless, the performers did not show up, and festival-goers were barely fed or given a place to sleep.
Then there’s Jenner’s role in the infamous Pepsi ad, which drew a lot of flak. According to People, she walked away from the campaign with an extra $400,000 to $1 million, although she probably wished she hadn’t.
Jenner was seen handing out Pepsis to demonstrators and police officers in the commercial, but it did not go down well. Pepsi eventually pulled the ad and apologized.
