Katia Langenheim is a professional painter and artist. Her work has been shown at Melbourne shows. She is best known as the mother of Orange Is the New Black star, Ruby Rose. The mother-daughter relationship is close; Katia frequently joins her famous daughter on holidays and activities.
Katia had an unusual start in life. She became pregnant with Ruby at a young age. Things worsened after the baby was born since the father of the child was abusive.
To flee the unhealthy relationship, she took her daughter and lived in a caravan. Finally, at the age of 20, she was able to break the bond and begin parenting the former MTV VJ as a single mother.
