Kathy Kirby was married to Frederick Pye in the 1970s. He was a writer and former policeman. After the marriage ended, it is said that she became almost a recluse in her west London apartment.
Kirby was romantically involved with both singer David Cross and attorney Alan Porter in the early 1980s.
