Karrine made her film debut in Jay-Hey Z’s Papi music video at the age of 21. The videos feature R. Kelly, LL Cool J, and Mystikal among others. She co-starred in the 2003 movie A Man Apart with Vin Diesel. As well as that, Confessions of a Video One of Vixen’s books, Vixen, is included in the list of New York Times Best Sellers.
The Vixen Diaries made its debut on The New York Times Best Sellers list at number six in the fall of 2007. Confessions stayed on the best-seller list in hardback for almost twenty weeks. Her first three books all went on to become #1 bestsellers on the New York Times list. She donates a share of the proceeds from her first book to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
How to Make Love to a Martian and Drink F**k Sleep (Volume 1), as well as several other works on unpleasant sexual encounters, are both written by Karrine. In March 2010, she signed two collaborations with Fox Television Studios and joined the production team at 20th Century Fox.
