On October 2, 1972, Jonathan Torrens was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. He spent much of his formative years in the tiny village of Sherwood.
Jackie Torrens, a writer, and actor, is one of his other siblings. Torrens received his education at Sherwood Elementary School. In 1983, the same year he started attending St. Patrick’s High School, he relocated to Halifax with his family.
