Jimmer proposed to former BYU cheerleader Whitney Wonnacott on Twitter in 2011. They married on June 1st, 2012. Due to the birth of his first child, he was forced to fly to Denver, Colorado, to watch his team’s first playoff game. Wesley was the name they chose for their first child.
He scored 39 points in one game after his comeback to help his team win. After being chosen by the Phoenix club, he gave birth to his second child. His son’s name was Taft.
