Jennifer Kirby, who was born on August 18, 1988, grew up in Longdon, Worcestershire. In Malvern Hills, she attended Malvern St. James Girls School. She studied English Literature at Norwich’s University of East Anglia.
The prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) subsequently accepted her. This school’s alumni include renowned actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Jim Broadbent. Then, Jennifer began to acquire roles.
Jennifer’s first major stage role was as Elizabeth Bennet in London’s Pride and Prejudice. Her other starring roles on stage include Teddy and The Recruiting Officer.
In 2015, Jennifer made her television début in an episode of the BBC One medical drama Holby City, which has aired for many years.
However, she is best known for her role as Nurse Valerie Dyer in series six of the BBC period drama Call the Midwife. She performed the role until the ninth season’s conclusion.
She was nominated for multiple awards for this portrayal, including the National Television Award, the Ian Charleson Award, and the Evening Standard Awards.
