She was diagnosed with depression in 2007, a year after welcoming her first-born daughter. She sought treatment and after a few sessions with a psychiatrist and taking anti-depressants she was back to her normal self. However, in 2017 she filed for divorce to end her more than 15 years of marriage. This meant that she got to share the custody of her daughters with her husband.
Additionally, she had a lot of time by herself and therefore she found herself welcoming dark thoughts since she was a perfectionist. Therefore, depression came knocking back again and she was also diagnosed with debilitating anxiety. The situation became once that she overdosed on Xanax in 2018 ending up in an emergency room.
