Jessie Fleming was born in Ontario, Canada on March 11, 1998. Her father, John Fleming, and mother, Michaele Fleming, are both from Toronto. Tristan, her older brother, and Elysse, her younger sister, are her siblings. As a child, she participated in track and field, cross-country running, full-contact boys’ hockey, soccer, and other sports.
Jessie began playing soccer at the age of three and was a member of the Nor’West Optimist Soccer Club in London until 2016. Fleming attended Ryerson Public School, where she won every cross-country tournament she entered.
She later attended London Central Secondary School from years 9 to 10, where she competed in cross-country and OFSAA track and field. Furthermore, in 2012, the player won the 4000-meter novice girls’ event at the OFSAA Cross Country Championships. Jessie also attended H. B. Beal Secondary School for Grades 11 and 12, graduating in 2016.
