The American basketball player must have been passionate about basketball since he was young. He started his high school career at the prestigious basketball powerhouse – St. Anthony High School.
He played under the hall of Fame Coach Bob Hurley Sr. during high school. Soon after earning minimum playing time in his freshman year, the young basketball star transferred to Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School.
While the Kansas State point guard was in his sophomore and junior year, he played alongside Jullian and Justin Champagnie. As a junior, Nowell averaged 19.9 points and 8.1 assists per game.
The New York-born basketballer switched to The Patrick School for his final year and, despite missing a month due to injuries, averaged 10.9 points per game. He earned no Division 1 offer after high school before Little Rock gave him a chance.
