It is highly unlikely that she is a lesbian, considering Larson has a boyfriend whom she routinely flaunts on social media.
Even so, fans haven't given up hope. If not in real life, they are excited to see Larson as queer on the silver screen, especially since they caught onto the queer undertones in her MCU blockbuster Captain Marvel.

The queer undertones being discussed included Larson's character not having a male love interest. She also raises a daughter alongside another female character in the movie—fellow Air Force pilot Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch).
That being said, the on-screen relationship between Larson and Lynch was not canonical either.
