Leah Williamson grew up in Newport Pagnell in Milton Keynes on the northern edge of the bustling city and attended Portfield School for primary education while she moved to Ousedale School for her secondary education.
Interestingly, her family’s football loyalties are split down the middle. Her father, David Williamson, and brother Jacob Williamson are devoted fans of North London’s Tottenham Hotspur.
Meanwhile, Leah’s mother, Amanda Williamson, and her grandmother are lifelong supporters of Arsenal F.C., which happens to be Tottenham’s main rivals.
Leah’s mother’s love for the sport is deeply rooted in her; she even took Leah to the field during her early days. She was determined to play so much that she cut her hair short just to look like a boy and gain entry to the game.
