Ian Bohenwas born in Carmel, California. He is of mixed ethnicity because he has Irish, German, and English ancestors. Pamela, Ian’s mother, raised him and his brother Shane Bohen. Ian and Shane are close to their mother, as is the case with any healthy parent-child relationship. Their friendship can be seen on their Instagram accounts, where they frequently share each other’s photos.
There are, however, sources that confirm his paternal ancestry. According to those sources, Ian is the grandson of Harold Gilbert Bohen and Margaret. Similarly, Ian appears to have inherited his Irish ancestry from his great-great-great grandparents. Thomas Bohen and Margaret, his great-great-great grandparents, were Irish immigrants to Rhode Island.
