\As Dodie Douglas in the three-season comedy My Three Sons, Dawn Lyn gained notoriety. She later made appearances on several TV shows, including Adam-12, Emergency!, Marcus Welby, Gunsmoke, and others. She played a key role in the American western film Shoot Out from 1971.
The 1973 supernatural horror movie The Exorcist had Dawn try out for the role of Regan, but she was too young. She has also appeared in the television shows The Red Hand Gang and Born Free.
Dawn played Moe in the 1974 horror film Devil Time Five, and her final on-screen performance was in an episode of the Wonder Woman television series. She was a part of the Avalon Community Theater Radio Troupe and resided in Avalon, Catalina Island, from 1997 until 2006.
