In an exclusive chat with Legit.ng, Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar opened up about her recovery after battling her long-term illness.
According to the movie star, she gives God the glory that she is in a much better place now. Abubakar explained that her recovery only took the grace of God.
She said:
"It feels really good that I have my health back and I have God almighty to thank. What I wrote is exactly how it went. I’m sure you can understand the statement. It took the grace of God."
Speaking further, the Nollywood actress opened up on her plans to share her story with the world in a movie. According to her, only words cannot explain what she went through.
"What I saw I can’t just write it. You will watch it to understand. If I don’t (make a movie of my story) how would people learn? Let’s thank God for now."
