She is working as a news anchor, reporter, and host for ABC 30 ACTION NEWS, DISNEY in Fresno, California Area. Graciela co-anchors the weekday editions at 4,6 & 6:30 and also produces and hosts the public affairs program Latino Life. Additionally, she has won 3 Emmy awards for her work in covering stories.
Her most memorable stories were covering the visit of Pope John Paul II to Mexico City in 2002 for the canonization of Saint Juan Diego. Prior to joining ABC News in 1997, Graciela worked as a news anchor and reporter for KFTV CH21 UNIVISION in Fresno, California from May 1995 to February 1997. While there, she leads weekday 6 pm Anchor and general assignment reporter. as well as working as a fill-in host and newsreader for a morning variety show.
She began her journalism career working as a producer, Newswriter, and host for KCSO Ch19 UNIVISION in Sacramento from Novermber 1992 to May 1995. There, Graciela worked as a full-time producer and news writer while still in the University. Additionally, Graciela’s duties included writing and producing: commercials, long-format news specials, and community affairs programming.
