She wed the former chief minister of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, Oman Abdullah. On September 1, 1994, the pair wed against the objections of her parents. However, their fondness for one another faded over time. In 2011, they also submitted a divorce petition. Sadly, the court denied it, thus she is now residing in a government mansion in New Delhi.
She asked for protection and a monthly payment of about Rs 10 lakh INR during the divorce. She remains wed to the former minister for fame and fortune notwithstanding the court’s rejection of her claim. Additionally, there is tension in their relationship right now. They both share the same two sons, Zamir and Zahir Abdullah.
