Eve Hewson, Ali Hewson’s second child, was born on July 7, 1991, in Dublin. Her name was inspired by her birth date, July 7, 1991, at 7 a.m. Eve is derived from the letters E, V, and E, which appear in the word seven in that order. Eve’s first child, Jordan, was born. Eve had two older brothers, one named John and the other Elijah.
Hewson now prefers Brooklyn in New York. Her father was dissatisfied with the honorary Doctorate conferred during Eve’s graduation ceremony in New York on May 22, 2003.
