Following Esther’s death, a death notice circulated around the media. Fluffy’s fans and followers, as well as her family, relatives, friends, and well-wishers, offered an emotional homage. Esther was laid to rest in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Whittier, Los Angeles, California.
