Melanie Bright, a 54-year-old consultant, is married to Lynette Nusbacher, an American historian who transformed her gender from male to female. She changed her biological name, Aryeh Nusbacher, to Lynette after the procedure. On June 7, 1998, the two took their first steps down the aisle.

Lynnette was 32 years old at the time of their wedding, and Melanie was 31. The couple, on the other hand, kept their lavish wedding ceremony off of the spotlight. They moved to the United Kingdom of Britain after their grand wedding and settled into their new married life.
