He currently works for ESPN as an analyst during Monday Night Baseball and Wednesday Night Baseball telecasts. Eduardo returned to the station in 2014 and worked as a Baseball Tonight analyst. In 2021, he joined the host Karl Ravech and fellow analyst, Tim Kurkjian, on the Sunday Night Baseball pre-game show after he was named to the Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown team.
Eduardo joined ESPN’s Baseball Tonight in 2006 where he covered postseason coverage along with current player Vernon Wells, and former players Tino Martinez and Eric Byrnes. In addition, he worked as an analyst for “Baseball Tonight” through 2011. Also, Eduardo served as an analyst for ESPN Deportes’ “Béisbol Esta Noche. Moreover, he provided commentary for the NCAA baseball regionals, the Little League World Series regionals as well as the Triple-A All-Star Game in 2007.
Eduardo has been a signature analyst in ESPN’s international MLB game coverage including, the calling historic games in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Japan. In addition, He served as an analyst in ESPN’s KBO League 2020 regular-season coverage. Also, Eduardo works as a staple on ESPN’s innovative, data-driven Statcast alternative viewing experiences that surround signature MLB events, like the Home Run Derby and Wild Card game.
