Dolores Catania was born to Lawrence and Valerie Spagnola on December 28, 1970. The United States city of Paterson is where Catania was born.
Catania has three siblings: two sisters, Valerie and Laura, and a brother, Louis. She is not the only child of her parents. Dolores obtained a degree in gaming law from Seton Hall University, where she studied.
