Phaedra strolled into the Married to Medicine universe with a new hairdo, a new boutique, and, apparently, a new boo in the medical field.

In the Season 10 premiere, Phaedra shared with Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Jackie Walters that she’s dating a Nigerian doctor. In a confessional, Phaedra said the man was a pediatric cardiologist who was “healing my heart.” She then said that while she’s “dating” medicine and isn’t married to it just yet.

Phaedra didn’t share her mystery man’s name on the Married to Medicine premiere, nor did she share what he looks like. In photos of the couple, Phaedra is seen standing next to a tall gentleman as a clown emoji covers his face.

Phaedra being coy about the doctor she’s dating didn’t sit well with Married to Medicine’s fans. Especially because Phaedra hadn’t mentioned much about her doctor on social media before her M2M debut. The former Housewife has never said her boyfriend’s name in public, and only refers to him as “Dr. O” in interviews.

In an interview on Page Six’s podcast, Virtual Reali-Tea, Phaedra said her willingness to keep her relationship close to her chest stems from her much-public split from her ex-husband, Apollo Nida. She also said she and Dr. O might have broken up, so there’s not much to tell about their relationship.

“You’ll have to watch to see what happens,” Phaedra said about the potential breakup. “But yeah, there might be another doctor that’s looming in the picture as well. Love is in the air, honey!”
