Linda Kasabian was born on June 21, 1949, in Biddeford, Maine, United States. As aforementioned, Kasabian met Manson in 1969 while hitchhiking in California.

She joined the group and became one of Manson’s followers, along with other young women drawn to him.

Kasabian was present at several of the Manson Family’s infamous gatherings, including the August 1969 Tate-LaBianca murders, which resulted in the deaths of actress Sharon Tate and six others.

However, Kasabian did not participate in the murders, and she later became a key witness for the prosecution in the trial of Manson and his followers.

She testified against Manson and his co-defendants, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Leslie Van Houten, detailing their roles in the murders.

Kasabian’s testimony was crucial in securing the convictions of Manson and his followers.

She was granted immunity in exchange for her cooperation with the prosecution, and she subsequently left California and changed her identity.

After the Manson trial, Kasabian largely disappeared from public view. She occasionally granted interviews but generally kept a low profile.

In recent years, she had been portrayed in several films and shows about the Manson Family and the Tate-LaBianca murders until she passed away last month.
