Judy leaves behind her parents, Liam and Imelda, as well as her sister Lucy, brother William, and brother-in-law, Pedro. Her broad circle of friends also survives her.
According to a death notice, she died on Saturday and would be sadly missed by her grieving parents Liam and Imelda, sister Lucy, brother William, and brother-in-law Pedro’.
On May 1 at noon, a requiem liturgy will be at St Nessan’s Church in Raheen, followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
Judy Fitzgerald, a 32-year-old Irish lady, was an extraordinary person who excelled in various professions.
She was a fitness model, a former Miss Bikini Ireland, and a committed front-line nurse and midwife. Judy tragically died unexpectedly on May 27, 2023, in her birthplace of Limerick.
The cause of her death has not been made public, leaving many mourning her premature passing.
Judy had a degree in Nursing from University College Cork and a postgraduate degree in Midwifery from the University of Limerick.
She was a licensed fitness teacher in addition to her healthcare employment, and she continued to serve on the frontlines throughout the difficult days of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Judy’s commitment stretched to both healthcare and the fitness modeling industry.
