DeWanna Bonner has been a member of the Phoenix Mercury since the beginning of her professional hockey career. Yes, she was selected by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2009 WNBA Draft, and she has since appeared in a number of games for the Mercury. After a decade, she is now at the Connecticut Sun, having recently signed a contract with the company that will expire in February 2020.
Neben her outstanding performances with the Mercury, Bonner also represented the United States in a few of international competitions during the WNBA’s summer. She played for the Czech Republic’s BK Brno, Spain’s Baloncesto Rivas and CB Avenida, and Russia’s Nadezhda Orenburg in international competition.
