Although Carey has denied having procedures done, in 2019, Daily Mail reported that she had used her assistant’s credit card to pay for and conceal her plastic surgeries and shopping sprees.
According to an insider, the ‘Hero’ singer did not want people to know about her shopping or surgeries, so she used her former assistant Lianna Shakhnazaryan and former manager Stella’s Bulochnikov cards. The singer had her own card, but her business management team only let her have one because she maxed out her cards.
The insider claimed that she had spent “$10,000 in PLLA buttock filler injections, a $4,800 LipoFreeze fat-melting laser treatment to her upper breasts and an $8,900 firming ultrasound procedure to her neck and jawline.”
The former manager and assistant sued Carey for her inability to reimburse their money, among many other accusations.
