He married Pauline Joyce Meyer. She is an American Charismatic Christian author, speaker, and also the president of Joyce Meyer Ministries. The couple tied the knot in  1967. Dave and his wife Joyce are proud parents to Laura Marie Holtzmann, Daniel B. Meyer, Sandra Ellen McCollom, and David Meyer. The family currently lives outside St. Louis, Missouri, and the ministry is headquartered near the St. Louis suburb of Fenton, Missouri.
