Colleen was 24 years old and Philip was 14 years old at the time of the murder. Chism was found guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated rape, and armed robbery on December 15, 2015. Philip Chism received a life sentence with a 40-year eligibility period.
According to the sources, Colleen Ritzer will be buried on October 28, 2013. The murder of Afolleen’s family members led to the creation of a website for scholarship funding. Also created was a project called Kindness for Colleen. The students at the school adored Ritzer as a teacher.
