John got started after founding Peloton in 2012. He has held a different position in the past. In 1990, he started working for a private company as a production shift manager, where he remained for 6 years. He was then named General Manager of Ticketmaster in 2001.
He spent three years developing his website, Evite.com, which he launched in 2002. But all changed when he produced a different good and made it available on his website Pronoto.com. While working for his companies Evite and Pronto, he learned a lot.
Before founding Peloton in 2012, he spent two years as the President of Barnes & Noble. Later the same month, in June 2012, he launched the fitness equipment firm Peloton and took on the roles of CEO and founder. This John company specializes in presenting screens for real-time workouts on treadmills and cycles from their manufacturer. He has just switched to the position of Executive Chairman after over 9 years as Peloton’s CEO.
