Carla Sehn starred in Yana Martsynkevych’s 2017 short film “Half Brother,” in which a girl named Ania (played by Sehn) tries to solve the mystery surrounding her half-brother.
Her performance was so touching that she was named Best Actor at the 2017 Sveriges Kortfilmsfestival. Following the success of her first picture, she was approached by several film and television producers, and her career took off.
She soon earned a role in Gabriel Alvim’s film “Bloom: 1st collection of poems,” and she hasn’t looked back since. Between 2018 and 2021, she appeared in two additional films, “Till Sun Rises” and “Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton.”
Meanwhile, she played Julia in the miniseries “Anxious People” in 2021. Furthermore, the second installment of the series, titled “Love & Anarchy,” which catapulted Carla to fame in 2020, was released in 2022. This is a love drama in which Carla Sehn stars alongside Ida Engvoll, Björn Mosten, Gizem Erdogan, and others.
She has appeared in television shows and series as well as on the big screen. She began her television career with the murder mystery “The Sandhamn Murders,” and went on to work on bigger projects including “lska mig,” “Love & Anarchy,” and “Sjukt.”
