Following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, David immediately began his career. His background, however, was not in journalism. It was instead in the military. From 1986 to 1991, David served in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army as an artillery officer.
During his time in the US military, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service during Operation Desert Storm. After that, David began his career as a journalist. He began his career as a public finance attorney with the Philadelphia firm of Ballard Spahr from 1994 to 1997.
Following that, in 2002, David joined the ACG (American Continental Group), where he now serves as president. David worked with companies like Comcast, Hewlett Packard, and Raytheon while at ACG. In addition, The Hill named him one of the Top Lobbyists in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
David, who has been a Republican supporter since he was a child, joined Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in April 2016. David was instrumental in Republicans winning their first election in Pennsylvania in 28 years in November 2016.
David has commented on hot topics such as Trump’s April 2017 National Rifle Association Speech and Trump’s 100-day mark as a CNN political commentator. David was also involved in the Pennsylvania gubernatorial campaign for Paul Mango, a businessman, and fellow West Point graduate.
