The Former WBZ-TV sportscaster, Bob Lobel, was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, a severe neurological disorder caused by swelling parts of the spinal cord.
Lobel is paralyzed from the waist down, so he loses both legs’ senses. Now, his bionic leg aids his walking quest.
He loves playing golf and can drive the golf cart car easily. He walks with his bionic leg.
His battle with chronic transverse myelitis was the reason for his paralysis. He first revealed the disease in 2008. At first, Bob felt sick when he had his first symptoms.
Lobel now seems to strengthen his mental strength by playing golf.
Bob’s way of combating the effects of the neurological disorder inspires many people worldwide. Way to go old solid man!
