Ben Mendelsohn made his television debut in the 1984 series “Special Squad,” and between 1987 and 1989, he had appearances in such series as “A Country Practice,” “The Henderson Kids,” “Prime Time,” “Fame and Misfortune,” “Neighbours,” and “The Flying Doctors.”
In a similar vein, he portrayed Max Fisher and Philip Barton in ‘G.P’ in 1989 and 1994, as well as Lindsay Seymour and Matthew Clarke in ‘This Man… This Woman’ and ‘All the Way’ in 1988. He participated in episodes of several shows, including “Farscape” in 2002 and “Good Guys, Bad Guys” in 1997.
Ben Mendelsohn also starred in episodes of “Police Rescue,” “Halifax f.p.,” and “Snowy River: The McGregor Saga” in 1995. He has had appearances in television movies like “Secret Men’s Business,” “Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story,” and “Second Chance.”
In addition, he made appearances in the drama Mississippi Grind’ in 2015, the fantasy mystery drama ‘Lost River’ in 2014, the superhero movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises in 2012, and the drama ‘Adoration’ in 2013.
Similarly to this, he played Director Orson Krennic in “Rogue One” in 2016, King George VI in “Darkest Hour” in 2017, and appeared in “Ready Player One,” “The Land of Steady Habits,” and “Robin Hood” in 2018.
The Marvel Studios movies “Captain Marvel” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home” brought this actor more recognition in 2019, and the same year, he started working as a voice actor in “The King,” “Babyteeth,” and “Spies in Disguise.” His forthcoming movie, “Cyrano,” is currently in post-production.
