Scott Peterson

Discover key details about Scott Peterson.

Scott had a desire of becoming a professional golfer, but his plans did not pan out. This, however, was not enough for him to give up on himself as a person, and he began to seek other means of survival. He opted to try his hand at business in San Diego, California, because he was born and nurtured by businesspeople. Scott was fortunate in that he became a successful fertilizer salesperson, since he would make a decent living from the sales. He was earning around $5,000 from his employment at the time the incident with his wife was reported.

His life was thrown into disarray as a result of the incident, and he lost his employment before being sentenced to prison. Although he was the first to report his pregnant wife missing, it is believed that he did so to hide his crimes. People initially believed his narrative and sympathized with him for losing his wife just as they were ready to have their first kid. However, it was determined after extensive inquiry that he was not a victim, but rather a perpetrator. He was found guilty of murdering his wife and unborn child and was sentenced to death by lethal injection.
