She came to WCHS the Eyewitness News team in October 2020 as a reporter. Prior to making her way to the Mountain State, Ava formerly worked as a reporter and executive producer for the Centre County Report where she reported stories such as the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue Shooting as well as the Beta Theta Pi hazing death.
She also interned at WTOL in Toledo providing breaking news, and the LPGA Tour. Ava continued her love for sports by serving as a sideline reporter for Big Ten Network and as the host of the In-Game for Men’s Hockey and Men’s Basketball at Penn State.
If one has story ideas or places Ava should go in and around the Charleston area let her know! Ava loves meeting new people, so if you see Ava around, say hi!
