The suspect has been identified as Chicago resident Steven Montano, age 18. Charges against him include one felony count of homicide, one felony count of unauthorized use of a firearm, one misdemeanor count of involvement with reporting domestic violence, and one felony count of shooting a weapon near a school. Authorities are keeping an eye on him while he is still in the hospital.
