The disturbing information kept getting worse as it became known that 29-year-old Jordan Thomas had been accused of the murder.

Amarriah Smith Is Not There

Thomas may have left his automobile at the Tyco parking lot, according to the findings of the SBI’s investigation. After that, he took off with a truck that was parked there.

Thomas was arrested after the stolen truck was found at the ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

The SBI suggested that Amarriah Smith was probably slain somewhere else, which further complicated the investigation.

Thomas had been residing in an Edenton home when evidence was found there. It suggested a relationship between the accused offender and the victim.

As the inquiry goes forward, there is continued close observation of their relationship and the reason behind the crime.

In the beginning, Beaufort County charged Thomas with both larceny of a motor vehicle and concealing a person’s death.
