According to a Radar Online report from October 2013, Amanda had told Donn Barbitta, one of her ex-partners, that the child she had from her one-night fling with Pauly D was actually his.
Donn and Markert were presumably residents of Egg Harbor, New Jersey, at the time the latter claimed Amabella, her daughter, was his. At the time, Amanda’s daughter was five months old.
But Pauly D’s paternity test revealed it was all a hoax, and Don quickly ended their relationship with Markert after learning this.
According to reports, Pauly D was hoping to get involved with Amanda in the future, therefore this move by Markert is also said to be the reason he never started a relationship with his baby’s mother.
