He joined the Coton Sports youth club in 2006, which marked the beginning of his professional football career. In 2009-10, he made 15 appearances for the side, scoring 7 goals across all competitions as Coton Sport won the Cameroon Premier Division. On May 26, 2010, he signed with the French club Valenciennes and was handed the jersey number 9.
