A female friend had called the victim five minutes before he departed, and over the phone, she could hear screaming and fighting in the background.
She had gotten in touch with Ms. Walsh after receiving texts stating that she was attempting to evict Taylor from the apartment because he was using drugs, the court was informed.
The following morning, early, Taylor was taken into custody at his residence. He had cocaine, cannabis, and alcohol in his system.
He remarked to Police as he was being taken into custody, “It’s crazy how one moment of madness can change your whole life.”
According to the court, Taylor had prior convictions for assaulting female family members.
He received a 12-month prison sentence for hitting his mother with a metal pole and a warning for headbutting his 16-year-old sibling.
On May 10, a judicial hearing will determine the sentencing date. Taylor, of Hornsey, north London, was seen on CCTV entering the property through the communal entrance at 20:36 GMT and leaving at 21:14 GMT.
