Adamari Lopez was born on May 18, 1971, in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Her given name is Adamari López Torres. Her father, Luis López, and mother, Vidalina Torres Montalvo de López, are both undertakers. Adalberto López, her brother, was raised in the same town where she grew up.
Lopez developed an interest in performing at a young age and began her career at the age of six. Similarly, she is both national and ethnically Puerto Rican. In terms of education, she earned a B.A. in communications from the University of the Sacred Heart.
